The petrol bomb attack on Hong Kong’s MTR on Friday evening has highlighted the need to be ever more vigilant when it comes to personal and public safety. While this appears not to be a terrorist attack, and everyone involved was admirably calm and collected throughout, it does expose the city’s overall lack of public awareness of what people should do in similar life-threatening situations.

Anti-Pipeline Protesters May Poison Sioux Water Supply With Their Garbage
Hilarious. We are told the Dakota Access Pipeline should not be built because if it leaks it could pollute the water of sacredly oppressed Indians. Then we read that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has issued a press release stating that the anti-DAPL protest sites must be shut down to prevent “significant environmental damage”:

Hippies are filthy creatures and a menace to the environment.

The Corps issued notices to protestors, informing them that the federal government will shut down their camps, adjacent to North Dakota’s Cannonball River, on Feb. 22. The government must clear the protestors’ trash and debris before the temperature rises in the spring.

The “fake news” wars are getting more intense every day – and more confusing for people who don’t have the time, energy and discernment to determine who’s really telling the truth and who isn’t.

Meanwhile, more and more unknown, mysterious, shadowy entities are attempting to make a quick buck as self-proclaimed “fake news” cops.

If Only Hillary Had Been Elected! She’d Have Stopped This Injustice!

THIS WILL CRACK YOU UP!
A huge two mile-long crack has been discovered in the desert in Arizona.  Drone footage uploaded to YouTube by the Arizona Geological Survey shows the massive fissure splitting the desert's surface in the Tator Hills area of southern Pinal County. The film shows people dwarfed by the crack as they stand next to the edge, while the drone flies over the wide-open fissure which extends farther into the earth then the eye can see.

RATHER A STICKY WICKET!
So far, Mr. Trump’s administration has offered mixed messages about the three-year-old war. He has said he would be open to lifting sanctions against Russia imposed in 2014 after it annexed the Crimean peninsula and sent troops to aid separatists in the east. However, Nikki R. Haley, Mr. Trump’s newly appointed ambassador to the United Nations, last week called for an end to “the Russian occupation of Crimea” and for a halt in the fighting in eastern Ukraine.
This week, in a letter to Lithuania’s president, Mr. Trump seemed to echo that sentiment and personally expressed support for keeping Ukraine intact. The lack of a clear position on the conflict has bewildered officials on both sides, particularly in Ukraine where Mr. Trump’s overtures to President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia are viewed with alarm.

DALLAS (CBS11) – The family of a woman convicted of voter fraud is speaking out after a Tarrant County jury sentenced her to eight years in prison.
Prosecutors say the reason officials at the elections department in Dallas didn’t stop the voter fraud from happening is because Rosa Ortega claimed she was a citizen on her application.

DETROIT (AP) — At least 31 people could face criminal charges after voting twice in Michigan in the fall election, an official said Thursday.
Separately, the state Bureau of Elections said human error, not fraud or equipment failure, caused mismatches between the number of ballots cast in some Detroit precincts and the number of voters.YEAH RIGHT!!!!
The agency's investigation followed a partial statewide recount of the presidential race, which raised questions about the safeguarding of ballots in Detroit. A judge stopped the recount after three days, although officials said it would not have changed President Donald Trump's slim victory in Michigan over Hillary Clinton.

Slow news day today, but Stolen Valor, like rust, never sleeps.
Lying about your military career is stupid.
Lying about your military career to puff up your commercial enterprise is both illegal and stupid.
Lying about your career, then starting a business to work with law enforcement, and making videos with you handling guns when you are a convicted felon is stupid on a level I'm not even sure how to quantify.
But, here's Anthony Gambino, the most brazen imbecile in New Mexico
