From Daily Star UK: The embattled leader says Europe has an obligation to take displaced people from Syria and Iraq.
Mrs. Merkel had been a strong critic of Brexit, saying she had “deep regrets” about it. She will go to the polls in September against Social Democrat candidate Martin Schulz, the former European Parliament President.
On Putin, she said Europe’s ties with Russia remained challenging, but it was important to work with them in the fight against Islamist terrorism. She said: “The joint fight against Islamic terrorism is one area where we have the same interests and we can work together.”
Only last week, a student was dragged into woods and raped by a migrant who spoke no English near the campus of Bochum University.

From the Independent: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expelled almost 40,000 Pakistani migrant workers in the last four months, local media has reported.
Over 39,000 people have been deported since October 2016 over visa violations and security concerns, the Saudi Gazette reported, citing unnamed interior ministry officials. As well as crimes including drug trafficking, forgery and theft, an unknown number of those removed from the country were suspected to have links to Isis and other extremist groups, the paper said.

Via Fox News: About 680 Cubans have been returned to the island from various countries since then-President Barack Obama ended a longstanding immigration policy that allowed any Cuban who made it to U.S. soil to stay and become a legal resident, state television reported Friday.
Cuba’s government had long sought the repeal of the “wet foot, dry foot” policy, which it said encouraged Cubans to risk dangerous voyages and drained the country of professionals. The Jan. 12 decision by Washington to end it followed months of negotiations focused in part on getting Havana to agree to take back people who had arrived in the U.S.

Melania Trump recites ‘The Lord’s Prayer’; sends demonic Left into another meltdown!!

The humongous crowd of 9,000 received the prayer enthusiastically.
But Melania’s recitation of The Lord’s Prayer catapulted the Left into another collective meltdown.
As reported by FoxNews:
Leftists on social media tore into First Lady Melania Trump, mocking her accent and religion and branding her everything from a hostage to a whore – all for the secular offense of reciting “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Sheriff Joe’s Replacement Will Not Hold Illegal Aliens for ICE
What a switch. It used to be that the Sheriff of Maricopa County was Joe Arpaio, who would do his valiant best to enforce immigration law, resulting in Washington using strong-arm tactics in an attempt to force him to cease and desist so that Phoenix and the surrounding area could be overrun by illegal aliens. Then came elections. Now the poles have reversed:
Maricopa County jails will no longer detain people flagged by federal authorities as a courtesy for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Sheriff Paul Penzone said Friday evening.

BAD DAY FOR SWAT
Will a patrol cop make jokes at the expense of a SWAT team in Alaska having a bad day? You can bet your badge he will!

Black Silhouette Targets Denounced as Racist
Corrupt Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, who denounced the terms “black hole” and “black sheep” as racist, should have been the moonbat to come up with the Change.org petition calling for the end of black silhouette targets:
Our end goal is to eliminate the use of the most popular target for shooters when learning to use their firearm: a black silhouette. There should be #NoMoreBlackTargets!
Unconscious bias can be deadly, and we need to fight the deadly epidemic of gun violence towards black people.
Never mind that violence toward blacks is inflicted almost exclusively by other blacks.

Sensitivity Readers Review Manuscripts for Thought Crimes Prior to Publication
Under totalitarian Liberalism, everything we are supposed to like needs to go by a euphemism. For example, censors who study manuscripts for thought crimes so that books can be revised or rejected prior to publication are called “sensitivity readers.” The Chicago Tribune approvingly defines a sensitivity reader as “a person who, for a nominal fee, will scan the book for racist, sexist or otherwise offensive content.”

Ordinary Average Guy
After leaving the White House, former President Obama was spotted kite-surfing with billionaire Richard Branson on Branson’s private island in the Caribbean.
It’s good to see Obama hasn’t lost his touch with the common folk… who give liberals 10-figure donations.

WASHINGTON — Pharmaceutical companies may need a dose of their own medications. A new study finds the best treatment for anxiety may not come from your local pharmacy, but rather a quiet room in your home.
The study, published in the Jan. 24 edition of Psychiatry Research, confirmed that eight-weeks of mindfulness meditation can be crucially beneficial for those who suffer from anxiety.
OR JUST EXERCISE!

Bulls Don’t Kill Flies, They Just Tail-Swoosh Them
MSNBC’s Katy Tur suggested that Donald Trump will eventually be responsible for the “suspicious deaths” of journalists he dislikes.
First he’d have to notice them. But then he’d just tweet at them. Katy’s bitter that there’ll never be one about her.

TRUMP RIGHT AGAIN!!!
Trump Right AGAIN: Sweden DEPORTING 80000 Refugees
Trump stated the obvious. Sweden has a Muslim refugee problem. But the Leftist media avoids the main issue…again.
At his Florida rally on Saturday, President Trump referred to rising crime due to Muslim refugees in Sweden. Somehow, the Left tried to conflate this as Trump spreading fake news about a non-existent terror attack. Despite the alleged gaffe, the damage done by Sweden’s open border refugee policy is real.

In a rare television appearance, Rush Limbaugh was on FOX News with Chris Wallace. In the interview, Rush explains why the media cannot destroy President Donald trump. He also discusses the difference in treatment between Obama and Trump. Do you think political correctness had much to do with it? Is the media’s anger caused by their inability to control and shape the Trump administration? See and hear what El Rushbo has to say.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—In a renovated warehouse by San Francisco Bay, plastic towers sprouting heads of lettuce, arugula, and herbs rise 20 feet to the ceiling, illuminated by multicolored LED lights that give the room a futuristic feel.
A group of tech entrepreneurs and investors including billionaires Jeff Bezos and Eric Schmidt are betting this facility, 100 miles north of California’s “salad bowl” produce-farming epicenter, can redefine how vegetables and fruits are grown for local consumption.
If all goes to plan, the 51,000-square-foot warehouse run by startup Plenty United Inc. will yield as much as 3 million pounds of leafy greens each year. In the coming months, the company plans to begin marketing produce bred for local tables rather than shipping durability.

When former President Barack Obama said he was “heartened” by anti-Trump protests, he was sending a message of approval to his troops. Troops? Yes, Obama has an army of agitators — numbering more than 30,000 — who will fight his Republican successor at every turn of his historic presidency. And Obama will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.

George Soros' alleged meddling in European politics has caught the attention of Congress.
Concerns about Soros' involvement most recently were raised by the Hungarian prime minister, who last week lashed out at the Soros "empire" and accused it of deploying "tons of money and international heavy artillery."
But days earlier, Republican lawmakers in Washington started asking questions about whether U.S. tax dollars also were being used to fund Soros projects in the small, conservative-led country of Macedonia.
Rep. Christopher Smith, R-N.J., led a group of House lawmakers in writing to Ambassador Jess Baily -- an Obama appointee -- demanding answers. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, also expressed concerns about USAID money going to Soros' Open Society Foundations as part of a broader concern that the U.S. Embassy has been taking sides in party politics.
