Now, Hillary believes she should be a preacher. Lord help us. Apparently being a total failure as a presidential candidate is a spiritual experience, and now Hillary wants to share her awakening with the rest of us. Losing to Trump sent her on an entirely new path. According to the Daily Caller:
Clinton wants to preach, according to her pastor Rev. Bill Shillady, who has written a book about the former secretary of state’s spiritual life, particularly during her years-long campaign for president. SHE MUST BE MENTALLY ILL!

Police have launched a search for a jogger who appeared to knock a pedestrian into the path of a bus. CCTV footage shows the man apparently barging into the 33-year-old woman, knocking her into the road on Putney Bridge in south-west London and the bus driver swerving to avoid her.

====Wind power is cruising along to become a dominant player in the American energy mix, while nuclear energy has held its own despite plant closures. Coal is making a (short-term) comeback, while ethanol is becoming one of the country's best exports. It goes to show that the simple narrative isn't always the reflected by reality.

Sedgwick took part in a panel during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour on Sunday to promote her new ABC drama, “Ten Days in the Valley.” At the event, she was asked about a previous episode of PBS’ “Finding Your Roots” that revealed that she and husband Bacon are distant cousins. The couple, who tied the knot in 1988, have two adult children together.FEWER DEGREES OF SEPARATION THAN THOUGHT!!

The border standoff between Indian and Chinese troops on the remote Doklam area in the Himalayas is approaching the two-month mark with no end in sight. Simultaneously egged on and hemmed in by nationalistic fervor at home, neither government can afford to back down, making escalation a real risk. India’s national security adviser, Ajit Doval, met with China’s state councilor, Yang Jiechi, and President Xi Jinping at the end of July, but the two sides failed to reach an agreement to quell the border row. 2 NUCLEAR ARMED COUNTRIES!

Malaysia is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country where apostasy is not a federal crime, but critics say deepening fundamentalism within the Muslim majority is threatening religious freedoms, Reuters news agency reports.
Some claimed that Muslim apostates were involved in the Malaysian chapter of Atheist Republic, which has reportedly sparked uproar among some Muslims.
Members of the atheist group are reported to have received death threats on social media.

The crimes of Jack the Ripper make up one of the most famous unsolved murder cases of all time. Now, nearly 130 years after those gruesome murders cast a shadow over London, researchers believe they’ve uncovered the identity of their perpetrator. As the Telegraph reports, the claim is based on evidence from a diary that belonged to a Liverpool cotton salesman named James Maybrick in the late 19th century.

A new report shows that Al Gore’s Nashville estate expends 21 times more energy in a year than the typical US home. To be fair, though, he laughs 21 times harder all the way to the bank at the suckers who buy his books, movies, and lecture tickets, so it all balances out.

From NY Post: Before your son or daughter starts using credit, make sure he or she understands that a credit card could be a weapon of self-destruction. That’s because a new survey found that “millennials’ knowledge of credit cards is lacking” and “very concerning.” A few millennials — people born in the last decades of the 20th century — actually believe that missing a card payment would “improve” their credit rating, the survey said. “It was only 6 percent, but it actually shocked us,” said Mike Brown, a research analyst with LendEDU and the author of its Millennials & Credit Cards Survey. “They might think that by missing a payment they are gaming the system,” he added.

The number of hospital beds in Sweden has decreased by almost 10,000 in the past two decades despite concerns raised about overcrowding, reports newspaper Svenska Dagbladet. Sweden's stretched healthcare has been a high-profile subject in recent years following stories related to the scarcity of beds at hospitals, including nurses raising concern about an increasingly tough workload. "This is being talked about as if it were a natural disaster. It is not a natural disaster, but about the complete ignorance of those in power," Märit Halmin, intensive care doctor at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm, told Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet on Monday. The population of Sweden has grown by almost 13 percent since the end of the 1990s. In the same time the number of hospital beds in the public healthcare system went down by almost 30 percent, according to local authority statistics, reports Svenska Dagbladet. YEAH! MORE  GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE IS WHAT WE NEED!!!
