PRESIDENT'S LIMO

The Beast" as the limo is known was at the Dayton 500 last weekend. Some people were concerned about whether or not the driver could handle the limo on the speedway at a speed of over 100mph. The limo stayed on the track apron because it isn't built for the 30 deg banks of the speedway. Still, this video shows how well prepared the Secret Service is for driving the limo.
 As I recall, the drivers in the president's motorcade, known as "The Beast," are trained and able to spontaneously reverse direction in unison should there ever be a threat to the president that requires them to quickly extract the president and themselves from the danger. The attached video is about the President's limo driver.
You've never seen anything like this before. When you take into account that the Secret Service limo driver for the President is driving a 22,000 lb. automobile at speeds up to 60 mph; in reverse, over a one mile course, it's even more amazing.
This car has about 800 horse power. The vehicle the President uses also is weaponized and uses a totally independent air conditioning system with its own oxygen supply in case there is any gas or chemical attack.

Another Old Fashioned Salmon Patties recipe

 INGREDIENTS
1 (14 3/4 ounce) canned salmon
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup flour
1 egg
3 tablespoons mayonnaise

 DIRECTIONS
Open salmon and drain thoroughly. Place drained salmon in mixing bowl and flake evenly with a fork.
Add onion, corn meal, flour, mayonnaise, and egg. Stir until well blended.
Shape the mixture into patties about the size of an average burger or less.
Cook in oil in skillet over medium heat until browned on each side. Turn once while frying.

Note: The mayonnaise helps the patties hold their shape and keeps them from being too dry.

TODAY'S ECONOMICS LESSON

It is a slow day in a small South Dakota town and the streets are deserted. Times are tough, everyone is in debt and everybody is living on credit. A tourist visiting the area drives through town, stops at the motel and lays a $100 bill on the desk saying he wants to inspect the rooms upstairs to pick one for the night.
As soon as he walks upstairs, the motel owner grabs the bill and runs next door to pay his debt to the butcher. The butcher takes the $100 and runs down the street to retire his debt to the pig farmer. The pig farmer takes the $100 and heads off to pay his bill to his supplier, the Co-op. The guy at the Co-op takes the $100 and runs to pay his debt to the local prostitute, who has also been facing hard times and has had to offer her "services" on credit.
The hooker rushes to the hotel and pays off her room bill with the hotel owner. The hotel proprietor then places the $100 back on the counter so the traveler will not suspect anything. At that moment the traveler comes down the stairs, states that the rooms are not satisfactory, picks up the $100 bill and leaves.
No one produced anything. No one earned anything … however, the whole town is now out of debt and now looks to the future with a lot more optimism.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how a stimulus package works!

Dear Ms. Pelosi:
I write to you out of utter disdain! You are as despicable and un-American as the traitor Jane Fonda.
I am a soon to be a 75 year-old who has voted in every state and local election since 1966. I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats alike. I have worked on campaigns for both Republicans and Democrats, white and black. I served the country that I love in Vietnam, as my son did in the Middle East . I was awarded two bronze stars. I have been involved in politics since age 6 when my father was campaign manager for a truly great American Congressman, Charles Raper Jonas, who worked for his constituents and his country, and was to be admired, unlike you.
You obviously haven't read the Constitution recently, if ever, the Federalist Papers, or even David McCulloughs book on John Adams. You ought to take the time while riding around in your government provided luxury executive jet to do just that. You represent Socialistic and even Marxist principals that our founding fathers tried to avoid when setting out the capitalistic republican form of government represented by our Constitution.
I find it interesting that you and your husband are multi-millionaires with much of your fortune being made as a result of your public service. You have controlled legislation that has enhanced your husband's investments both on and off shore. At the same time you redistributed the wealth of others. Our system of a free market economy is being destroyed by the likes of you. You ride around in a Gulfstream airplane at the tax payers expense while criticizing the presidents of companies who produced something for the economy. You add nothing to the economy of the United States; you only subtract therefrom.
I would like to suggest that you return to the city of fruitcakes and nuts and eat your husband's canned tuna and pineapple - produced by illegal immigrants and by workers who have been excluded from the protection that 90% of the legal workers in the United States have.
I await your defeat in the next election with glee...
Don’t ever use the term un-American again for protesters who love this country and are exercising their rights upon which this country was founded. By the way, while I served in the Army, I was spit on by the same type of lunatics who support you and who you probably supported in the 60s and 70s. You are an embarrassment to all of us who served so that you would have the protected right of free speech to call us un-American. But at the same time, I have the right to write you to notify you that I consider you to be un-American, as do the majority of the people of this formerly great country. You are a true disgrace to most of the people who served this country by offering themselves for public service in the United States Congress.
I feel certain your aides will not share this letter with you, but I intend to share it with many...
Let's help this man fulfill his 'commitment' to Pelosi by sharing his remarks.


On 10 August 2009, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer published an op-ed piece in USA Today under the title “‘Un-American’ attacks can’t derail health care debate,” in which they criticized those who had been engaging in efforts to disrupt debate over health insurance reform legislation (which later became widely known as “Obamacare”).

Reps. Pelosi and Hoyer wrote (in part):


[I]t is now evident that an ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress and constituents from conducting a civil dialogue. These tactics have included hanging in effigy one Democratic member of Congress in Maryland and protesters holding a sign displaying a tombstone with the name of another congressman in Texas, where protesters also shouted “Just say no!” drowning out those who wanted to hold a substantive discussion.

These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American. Drowning out the facts is how we failed at this task for decades.

That op-ed prompted Dennis L. Guthrie, an attorney with the Charlotte, North Carolina, law firm of Guthrie, Davis, Henderson & Staton, to pen a (primarily ad hominem) critical letter to Rep. Pelosi the following day, images of which soon began circulating online:

A man is driving along a highway and sees a rabbit jump out across the middle of the road. He swerves to avoid hitting it, but unfortunately. The rabbit jumps right in front of the car. The driver, a sensitive man as well as an animal lover, pulls over and gets out to see what has become of the rabbit.
Much to his dismay, the rabbit is the Easter Bunny, and he is DEAD. The driver feels so awful that he begins to cry. A beautiful woman driving down the highway sees a man crying on the side of the road and pulls over.

She steps out of the car and asks the man what's wrong.
"I feel terrible," he explains, "I accidentally hit the Easter
Bunny with my car and KILLED HIM." The woman says, "Don't worry." She runs to her car and pulls out a spray can. She walks over to the limp, dead Easter Bunny, bends down,
and sprays the contents onto him. The Easter Bunny jumps up, waves its paw at the two of them and hops off down the road. Ten feet away he stops, turns around and waves again,
he hops down the road another 10 feet, turns, and waves,
hops another ten feet, turns and waves and repeats this again and again and again and again, until he hops out of sight.
The man is astonished. He runs over to the woman and demands, "What is in that can? What did you spray on the Easter Bunny?"
The woman turns the can around so that the man can read the label. It says... It says, Wait for it...
"Hair Spray Restores life to dead hair, and adds permanent wave."

Police in Massachusetts are searching for a woman who they say sprayed a Walmart employee in the eyes with Lysol disinfectant.Leicester police said in a Facebook post-Monday that the unidentified woman sprayed the worker after being informed there was a limit on the number of cans she could buy.

This POTUS is not the monster all these TDS(orange man bad, corporations/business bad, Constitution bad, individual freedoms bad, patriotism bad) sufferers try to make him out to be. Anybody who has managed 500 companies has made some mistakes and missteps. Virtually nobody else in his position has withstood this level of scrutiny. He is trying to do a good job and the right things for this country and its people. TDS sufferers just see mistakes, everything thru cynical negative eyes and imagined treachery. I hope there's help and some kind of recovery for all the TDS sufferers somehow. Hey!! I know he isn't perfect to but not the epidemy of evil many see and say either and certainly not deserving of all the abuse he and his family members have endured. Still he continues. Honestly, I don't know how he does it!
