The emerging trade represents more than a new source of shellfish for the world’s most populous nation. Saudi Arabia is testing the waters in China for shrimp as it seeks to reduce its reliance on oil and develop new industries and lines of business. Saudi shrimp exports to China should exceed 30,000 tons by the end of the year, said Al-Bala’a, whose closely held company operates a sprawling network of shrimp farms on the Red Sea coast. National Aquaculture Group is the only Saudi company exporting shrimp to China, he said.

At this particular location in North Carolina, ten alligators were spotted displaying the survival instinct by the park's awestruck general manager who, thankfully, captured the spooky scene on video.

A subsequent visit to the lake a few days later shows the alligators free from the ice and seemingly no worse for wear, aside from perhaps being a bit groggy.

And so the next time you're forced to leave the comfy confines of your home to brave the freezing temperatures outside, perhaps channeling your inner alligator can help you to endure the cold.

Atlanta-based Patrick Malloy Communities has unveiled plans for Upper East River, the residential component of the Eastern Wharf development just east of the Savannah Marriott. Upper East River will include 156 total single-family homes priced from $500,000s to the $3 millions. The first model home will open in Feb. 2019 and 17 are already under contract, according to Malloy, who has about $22 million invested in the project.

Sewage Pours Across Border From Tijuana- At this point, the idiocy is so advanced that sometimes you don’t know if you are watching the news or some dystopian sci-fi black comedy. One way to tell the difference is that in even the lousiest fiction, the symbolism would not be as ham-fisted as millions of gallons of sewage flowing across the southern border into San Diego County.
More than 6 million gallons (22 million liters) a day of raw sewage has spilled into the river since Monday, authorities say. Swimmers and surfers have been urged to stay out of the ocean, because from the Tijuana River the sewage flows into sea. Tijuana is in the news a lot lately, because that’s where an army from Central America has amassed at the border, festering in filth and disease, demanding money, and in some cases sneaking across into San Diego County.

My question for Congressjerk Eric Swalwell is pretty simple: “How many Americans would you murder to achieve your goal of disarming us?”
It’s a fair question.
Swalwell is the MSNBC stalwart who recently wrote an op-ed advocating that the government confiscate the guns that make people like him wet themselves and imprison those of us who decline to surrender them. Millions of Americans own these basic tools of freedom, which the ignorant call “assault weapons,” and these loyal citizens keep and bear them to protect themselves, their families, their communities and their Constitution.

The California congresswoman, who’s vying to become the next House speaker, made the blistering remarks after returning to the Capitol from a tense Oval Office sit down with Trump, during which he repeatedly threatened to shut down the federal government if Congress fails to cough up at least $5 billion for his long-sought border wall with Mexico.
“It’s like a manhood thing for him,” Pelosi told the Dems of Trump’s wall obsession, according to the source. “As if manhood could ever be associated with him.”
“I was trying to be the mom. I can’t explain it to you. It was so wild,” Pelosi said of the Oval Office meet, which was also attended by Vice President Pence and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). “It goes to show you: you get into a tinkle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.” Said the skunk.

Two nuns have admitted embezzling about $500,000 (£400,000) and spending it on gambling in Las Vegas. Sisters Mary Kreuper and Lana Chang, who worked at St James’ Catholic School in the city of Torrance, California, stole the money from school funds and gambled with it in casinos. The nuns, said to be best friends, took money from an account used for tuition fees and donations, and were caught during a routine audit. There are reasons we learn to discriminate. The ability to generalize increases the chance of survival. Clues both subtle and otherwise help us to distinguish friend from foe at a glance, so that we can prepare our defenses or avoid confrontation. Unfortunately, these instincts are less effective in a dystopia like Los Angeles, where every stranger you encounter is a potential threat.
