Mulligan’s story is a familiar one. He found work as a plasterer, before setting up his own business and settling down in north London with a family of five. Though it is home, London often feels like a lonely place for him, he says. “In London, you could stand in a pub all night and no one would talk to you. In Ireland, everyone would talk to you,” says Mulligan, who visits the London Irish Centre in Camden three times a week.

A senior citizen from Mobile Alabama drove his brand new Corvette stingray convertible out of the dealership. Taking the on ramp west on I 10, he floored it to 80 mph enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left.
“Amazing,” he thought as he flew down I 10, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear-view mirror, he saw a State Trooper behind him, lights flashing and sirens blaring. He floored it to 100 MPH, then 120, then 150. Suddenly, he thought, “What am I doing? I’m too old for this,” and pulled over to await the troopers arrival. Pulling up behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said “Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is my Friday. If you can give me a reason I’ve never heard before, I’ll let you go.”
The old gentleman paused. Then he said, “years ago my wife ran off with a Alabama State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.”
“Have a good day Sir,” replied the trooper.

Recently released documents suggest that freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) married Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, a man who is possibly her own brother, to sidestep immigration laws, according to a Star Tribune report. The investigative documents, released following a state probe into alleged campaign finance violations, showed that Omar filed joint tax returns in 2014 and 2015 with her current husband, Ahmed Hirsi, while she was legally married to Elmi, the Star Tribune reported.

Cannabis Science, a California-based company that specializes in developing cannabis-based medicine, has created a one-of-a-kind invention for fibromyalgia and nerve pain. Cannabis Science combined expertise in cannabis with innovative technology to invent a simple pain-relieving skin patch. Patients place the adhesive patch directly on the skin, and a specific dose of cannabis extract releases into the patient’s bloodstream through porous membranes under the patch. This patch delivers CBD, which does not have psychoactive effects.

.@RepCummings, wish you had the same passion for Homeless American Children defecating in the streets of Maryland, CA etc. They don't have toilets & showers. They sleep on concrete, not mats. Maybe Homeless Americans should seek Asylum at the border to get a mat & 3 meals a day! pic.twitter.com/hiXjC3LKS1— Diamond and Silk® (@DiamondandSilk) July 18, 2019
