Liberals often believe in a caricature of what a "MAGA" conservative is. They don't want to know the individuals or movement broadly, so they can continue to typecast them as evil, wicked people who should be ostracized and wiped out. Some of them are so corrupted by hatred they celebrated the Trump rally attendees being shot up and expressed regret the bullets didn't kill Trump.
