SURF'S UP IN ENGLAND
Spring tides and large sea swells combine to make the perfect conditions for river surfing in North Cornwall, England. The sea swells cause a tidal surge up the River Nett that causes waves on the river itself. The phenomenon affords enthusiasts the opportunity to surf up the river. Locals say the phenomenon only occurs occasionally and usually lasts up to 30 minutes. Credit: David Prtichard
