A 200-page document that may be the opposition research report reportedly pried from the Democratic National Committee by Russian government-backed hackers surfaced online Wednesday – but didn't add much to the Trump record that wasn't already known.
And Trump now claims that the DNC hacked itself in order to draw attention away from Hillary Clinton's election-year liabilities.
According to the table of contents, the document includes examinations of Trump's childhood, upbringing, casinos, golf courses, hotels, land deals, beauty pageants, and debts.
Much of the information is already available in public sources. It's the same kind of material that has been surfacing in press reports as reporters dig through Trump's decades-long pubic profile, while monitoring a raft of controversial public statements the candidate made during his victorious primary campaign.
