Will033When a country really doesn't give a #$%$ about a certain subject it is left for the first ladies to discuss. This evidently isn't important enough for the president to give it his attention. (it seems that nothing warrants his attention these days) Michelle is late to the game if the subject is Africa. Michelle is there for a photo op. Laura is there to discuss Africa's issues. Michelle is even pointing to what she considers the most important thing on the planet.. Herself..Expand Replies (3) Reply

emrys06It was an honest statement "investing in our future" brought to you by the NWO/ political elite
1%ers club. They are cleaning up Africa as I write this, can you say Ebola! This is what Bill Gates ruminated about 2 years back, reducing the world population by 5 billion, that's right,
5 billion less pesky humans, eating their food using up their resources AKA UN agenda 21.
By the way without medical checks, do you really know what coming in over what used to be our southern border? How about TB, polio, chicken pox, scabies, lice and now Ebola, and they are being quietly dispersed across the country, even to Alaska......imagine that!Reply -
Brian1429The Bush's have done more to render aid to the people in Africa than the Obama's could dream of. Even without the camera's and politcal postering. They have continued their work even since leaving office.Expand Replies (18) Reply

Steve3248It's astonishing how all these left wing third world looneytics criticize whitey for being so evil and racist yet the entire third world wants to come here! Kinda puts the truth to their leftist lies! & yes Laura Bush is a complete class act while silly naive lying Muslim Brotherhood Supporting Obama plays host to a dozen third world murderous dictators and tyrants who mostly are busy killing all their adversaries and peoples while stealing their money. Money probably given to them by America.Expand Replies (5) Reply

cali5433It's quite telling who has class and proper etiquette and who doesn't. Michelle has no clue how to properly sit - class is not her forte.Expand Replies (12) Reply

Eatmyshorts013Bafflingly, even the text of the speech on WhiteHouse.gov says the same thing:
“Secretary Panetta, thank you for your introduction and for your extraordinary leadership. Members of Congress, Vice President Biden, members of the Joint Chiefs, service secretaries, distinguished guests, and men and women of the finest military in the world. Most of all, Admiral Mullen, Deborah, Michael and I also want to also acknowledge your son Jack, who’s deployed today. All of you have performed extraordinary service to our country.”
Admiral Mullen’s first name is Michael. However, throughout his speech, Obama referred to Mullen as “Mike,” not Michael.Expand Replies (2) Reply -
YouDugYourOwn5307One is old enough to be the other one's mom. 18 years older than the other, yet she is so eloquent and classy, the other one not so much.
As long as you eat what she tells you to eat and does what her husband tells you to do, everything will be fine, never mind what they eat and what they do paid for by you - do as they say, not as they do! Isn't that the job of elected officials and their unelected wives, to tell us and our kids what to eat and how to do everything to their specification?Expand Replies (3) Reply -

NotSoDumb5271Michelle has no class--or seems totally oblivious that appearance counts for the first family. She was the only one on the stage that day that didn't have sleeves to her dress, looked like she was slapped together, and was not at all appropriate for a First Lady. Reminded me of how rude she was while visiting the Queen of England in her sleeveless dress with a slouchy sweater--totally inappropriate attire and decorum for a first lady visiting a foreign nation.
