Joe Jackson - Is She Really Going Out With Him?

Pretty women out walkin' with gorillas down my street
From my window I'm starin' while my coffee goes cold
Look over there
There's a lady that I used to know
She's married now or engaged or somethin', so I'm told

Is she really going out with him?
Is she really gonna take him home tonight?
Is she really going out with him?
Cause if my eyes don't deceive me
There's something going wrong around here

Tonight's the night when I go to all the parties down my street
I wash my hair and I kid myself I look really smooth
Look over there
Here comes Jeannie with her new boyfriend
They say that looks don't count for much and so there goes your proof

But if looks could kill
There's a man there who's marked down as dead
Cause I had my fill
Listen you take your hands from her head
I get so mean around this scene
Hey, baby

Something going wrong around here

Alexian Lien’s Range Rover was surrounded by several bikers on the West Side Highway on Sunday. One biker apparently cut the driver off and slammed on the brakes just before the SUV bumped his rear tire. But when Lien — who was driving his wife, Rosalyn, and their 5-month-old child — stopped, several bikers began to damage his SUV. Lien fled, striking one biker. But the group caught up to him and pummeled him before cops arrived. FULL STORY HERE

2010-2011 National Survey on Drug Use and Health National Maps of
Prevalence Estimates, by State

The 98 national maps presented here show 2010-2011 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) estimates for 25 substance use and mental health outcomes, by age group, for 50 States and the District of Columbia. The color of each State on the U.S. maps indicates how the State ranks relative to other States for each measure. States could fall into one of five groups according to their ranking by quintiles. Because there are 51 areas to be ranked for each measure, the middle quintile was assigned 11 areas and the remaining groups 10 each. In some cases, a "quintile" could have more or fewer States than desired because two (or more) States have the same estimate (to two decimal places). When such ties occurred at the "boundary" between two quintiles, all States with the same estimate were assigned to the lower quintile. Those States with the highest rates for a given measure are in red, with the exception of the perceptions of risk measures, for which the lowest perceptions of great risk are in red. Those States with the lowest estimates are in white, with the exception of the perceptions of risk measures, for which the highest perceptions of great risk are in white. The upper and lower limits of each quintile shown in the map legend collectively define a continuum and are not necessarily the actual values of a particular area. For example, in Figure 1a, the values on the boundary in the lowest quintile correspond to Utah (4.96 percent) and Wyoming (7.13 percent) and are displayed in the legend. In the next to lowest quintile, Texas (7.15 percent) and New Jersey (7.98 percent) are the States with the lowest and highest values; however, in the continuum of the legend, the lower limit was assigned a value of 7.14 percent because the upper limit of the quintile below it is 7.13 percent.SEE REPORT AND MAPS HERE

Obama’s Power over Israel

Column One: Obama’s power and its limitations
By CAROLINE GLICK 26/09/2013
Sending Biden to headline at the J Street conference is an act of aggression against AIPAC.

US President Barack Obama’s rapidly changing positions on Syria have produced many odd spectacles.

One of odder ones was the sight of hundreds of lobbyists from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee fanning out on Capitol Hill to lobby members of the House and Senate to support Obama’s plan to launch what Secretary of State John Kerry called “unbelievably small” air strikes against empty regime controlled buildings in Syria.

AIPAC officials claimed they were doing this because the air strikes would help Israel.

But this claim was easily undone. Obama and Kerry insisted nothing the US would do would have any impact on the outcome of the Syrian civil war. This was supposed to be the strikes’ selling point. But by launching worthless strikes, Obama was poised to wreck America’s deterrent posture, transforming the world’s superpower into an international joke.

In harming America’s deterrent capabilities by speaking loudly and carrying an “unbelievably small” stick, Kerry and Obama also harmed Israel’s deterrent posture.

Israel’s deterrence relies in no small measure on its strategic alliance with the US.

Once the US is no longer feared, a key part of Israeli deterrence is removed.

Obama did not announce his intention to bomb empty buildings in Syria in order to impact the deterrent posture of either the US or Israel. He probably gave them little thought. The only one who stood to gain from those strikes – aside from Syrian President Bashar Assad who would earn bragging rights for standing down the US military – was Obama himself.

Obama wanted to launch the unbelievably small strikes to prove that he wasn’t lying when he said that Syria would cross a red line if it used chemical weapons.

So if the strikes were going to harm the US and Israel, why did AIPAC dispatch its lobbyists to Capitol Hill to lobby in favor of them? Because Obama made them.

Obama ordered AIPAC to go to Capitol Hill to lobby for the Syria strikes. He did so knowing that its involvement would weaken public support for AIPAC and Israel. Both would be widely perceived as pushing the US to send military forces into harm’s way to defend Israel.

Then, with hundreds of AIPAC lobbyist racing from one Congressional office to the next, Obama left them in a lurch. He announced he was cutting a deal with Russia and had decided not to attack Syria after all.

What did AIPAC get for its self-defeating efforts on Obama’s behalf? Obama is now courting Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in the hopes of making a deal that Iran will use as cover for completing its nuclear weapons program.

Such a deal may well involve ending sanctions on Iran’s oil exports and its central bank – sanctions that AIPAC expended years of effort getting Congress to pass.

And that’s not all. Monday, as Obama meets with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly in New York, Vice President Joe Biden will become the highest ranking administration official to date to address the J Street conference.

J Street was formed in order to weaken AIPAC, and force it to the left.

Sending Biden to headline at the J Street conference is an act of aggression against AIPAC. It also signals that Obama remains committed to strengthening the anti-Israel voices at the margins of the American Jewish community at the expense of the pro- Israel majority.

The question is why is AIPAC cooperating with Obama as he abuses it? Why didn’t they just say no? Because they couldn’t.

AIPAC is not strong enough to stand up to the president of the United States, particularly one as hostile as Obama.

Not only would it have suffered direct retaliation for its refusal, Obama would have also punished Israel for its friend’s recalcitrance.

R.I.P. Romantic Comedies: Why Harry Wouldn't Meet Sally in 2013

One producer tells THR "the meet-cute is dead" as films with overseas and sequel potential take priority and the traditional format tanks.

To understand the state of the Hollywood romantic comedy, consider director Nancy Meyers. Despite her stellar credentials in the genre (What Women Want, Something's Gotta Give and It's Complicated), reported Sept. 20 that her attempt to make a royal wedding rom-com at Sony had ended. Even with a script by red-hot (500) Days of Summer writers Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter, Meyers couldn't settle on the right cast. And sources say Sony, like many studios, was having doubts about laying a big bet in the budget range to which Meyers is accustomed.
"I don't see any appetite for rom-coms from the studios," says producer Lynda Obst, who built her career with such hits as Nora Ephron's Sleepless in Seattle and the Kate Hudson-Matthew McConaughey pairing How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. "The meet-cute is dead," agrees Seeking a Friend for the End of the World producer and manager Joy Gorman. "The only ones that have a chance are ones with a very fresh take."    ORIGINAL STORY

Wife slain after putting ketchup lid on too tightly, prosecutor says

Deschutes County Sheriff via AP
Lawrence Loeffler, 86, shot his wife once in the neck and then again in the head in what he described to investigators as a "kill shot" to make sure she was dead, according to a prosecutor. Loeffler's lawyer says he's not guilty of murder because he was suffering from delusions.
BEND, Ore. -- An 86-year-old Oregon man on trial for the shooting death of his wife carried out the attack after a series of grievances with his family that prosecutors said included the failure of his stepdaughter to wish him a happy birthday and his complaint that his wife put the lid on the ketchup bottle too tightly.

Guns you'll need to have when the S#!t hits the fan

Published on Sep 16, 2013
My take on the top 5 guns you'll need when the shit hits the fan.

1. 12 Gauge pump action shotgun
2. Bushmaster AR 15 5.56 NATO or .223 REM
3. Ruger 10 22 .22lr
4. Glock 17 9mm
5. Taurus Judge Public Defender Poly

When the stinky stuff hits the fan, you're going to want to make sure you have the right firearms to take care of any problem that may arise.
Regardless of your personal political affiliation and world views, you must admit the simple fact that the world is heading down a very slippery slope; and at the end of this slope lies a society the likes of which the American people have never seen. The political division in the nation is at an all time high, talks of civil war and a "second American Revolution" have been hot topics, and of course the economy continues to spiral downward. So from economic collapse to martial law, nuclear war, foreign invasion, or even a collapse of the power grid, there are many different events that could cause Americans to break out into massive civil unrest. As a result, the internet - specifically YouTube - is filled with lists, blogs, and videos of different people talking about the guns and other pieces of equipment they believe would be essential during a "shit hits the fan" scenario. Being a gun enthusiast myself and also having a decent understanding of current events and the current political climate, I recently decided to put my view on the subject out for the people of the internet to see. So in the first installment of a new gun talk vlog series I hope to expand in the near future on my new Liberty Sun TV YouTube channel, I discussed, for just over twenty minutes, my choice of five firearms that would be ideal to have in such a scenario, adding in a few alternatives for each choice. 1.) 12 Gauge Pump Action Shotgun - As I pointed out in the video, the 12 gauge pump action shotgun is likely the most popular gun in the United States, rivaled only by perhaps revolvers for the weapon most frequently used for basic home defense. (although different polls show different results on opinion for the best home defense weapon) So regardless of where you are when the stinky stuff hits the fan, a 12 gauge shotgun is ideal. As I also pointed out in the video, the Remington 870 Express and the Mossberg 500 are likely the two most popular guns in the 12 gauge market. And while I do have access to a Remington 870 in my home, I decided to not show it in the video and instead showed my Harrington & Richardson pump action 12 gauge in order to point out the fact that the market offers cheaper all-steel alternatives to the 870 and the 500 that retain the same durability and functionality. (even though most of them receive a lot of criticism for being manufactured in Japan and China) 2.) High Powered Semi-Auto Rifle - Regardless of whether it's zombies or foreign troops trying to kill you, if there are more than just a few coming at you at once, a high-powered semi-automatic rifle is going to be your ideal weapon. My first choice for a high powered semi-auto rifle is the popular Bushmaster AR-15 in either 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington. I'm not usually one to jump on "bandwagons" but this particular weapon is popular for a reason. It's reliable, durable and the .223, while it isn't one of the lest expensive rounds, it is one of the most commonly available, especially after the recent surge in production following mass hysteria over potential gun bans. Of course, if you're not willing to go all out and spend the money for a Bushmaster, there are other AR variants available for much cheaper prices. Mossberg and other companies make AR-style rifles for nearly half the price of a Bushmaster. With a basic knowledge of firearms, you can also get the parts and build an AR-15 on a budget. And if the AR isn't your "cup of tea" there are other styles of semi-automatic rifles available. The AK-style rifles (such as the AK-47 in 7.62 x 39mm and the AK-74 in 5.54 x 39mm) are likely the biggest rivals to the AR rifles in popularity. And just like the AR rifles, you can spend anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand. 3.) Ruger 10 22 Rifle - The Ruger "10 22" .22lr rifle is, in my opinion as well as the opinion of many other gun owners, the best readily available .22 rifle on the market. Ruger has set the standard for the .22 rifle and you can get a 10 22 that meets your exact specifications. Fresh out of the factory, the Ruger 10 22 comes with your choice of a wooden or synthetic stock and a stainless or blued barrel. You can also purchase after market stocks such as the one shown on my 10 22 in the video that give the gun a tactical look and feel, much like the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 and other "tactical" .22 rifles. Also readily available for the Ruger 10 22 are factory and aftermarket 25-round magazines. But regardless of whether you decide to go with the actual Ruger or something else, a .22 rifle is definitely a must-have when comes to a "shit hits the fan" scenario. .22lr bullets are very small, which makes it easier to have more rounds on you at all times. They are also perfect for hunting varmints, birds, and other small animals in the case that you would have to live off the land and hunt for food. 4.) The Sidearm - The sidearm is definitely my favorite topic to discuss when it comes to guns. Being a huge handgun fanatic, I have a lot to say when it comes to choosing the proper sidearm, specifically semi-auto pistols. And while it's important to make a good decision about your carry piece now, it's even more important to make your decision for when the "shit hits the fan" because you may not have the ability to just run to your local gun store and trade for something different. Choosing the proper sidearm has a lot to do with personal preference and the way your body is built. Certain handguns fit certain people better than others, and that's perfectly fine and normal. For me, the weapon of choice when it comes to the perfect sidearm is the Glock. Glock is a trusted manufacturer of pistols that has been around since the 1980s and has proven itself worthy to millions of individuals and agencies alike. The NYPD and Kentucky State Police, for example, both trust Glocks as their primary sidearms (although the NYPD gives a choice to use the Smith & Wesson Model 5946 or the Sig Sauer P226 instead of the Glock model 19) and the two law enforcement agencies are not alone. Thousands upon thousands of agencies across the United States issue Glocks to their officers, varying among the 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and in some cases even the .357 SIG and .45 GAP cartridges. Despite their durability and wide range of options (including many different sizes and calibers) many people are strong critiques of Glocks. Many criticize Glocks for being "too plain" or "unattractive" and some gun owners are simply not fans of polymer guns in general, preferring all-steel guns. That's why, as a 2nd option for a sidearm, I suggest the 1911. The 1911 is a type of gun that has been around for over 100 years so it has certainly withstood the test of time. It is likely the most popular handgun in the world and is produced by endless companies. Companies such as Colt, Remington, and Kimber have been making 1911 style pistols for decades but other companies like Ruger have only recently gotten into the arena. 1911s also have a wide variety of sizes and features. You can get anything from a standard 5" milspec to a compact 3.5" with all the bells and whistles. The prices also vary. You can get a cheap but durable Taurus or Rock Island 1911 for a few hundred bucks or you can splurge and get an Ed Brown or Dan Wesson Custom for a few thousand. 5.) The Revolver - It's always good to have at least one revolver in your gun collection, especially when the society goes to hell in a hand basket. The revolver I chose may not be the most popular revolver but it is the one that I feel would provide the best options for this scenario. In the video, I showed and discussed my Taurus Judge, specifically the Public Defender Polymer model. The Judge is a fairly new design that was first introduced in 2010 and in addition to firing the popular .45colt round it also fires .410 shotgun shells. Although the .410 is a controversial round due to the fact that is nowhere near as powerful as the 12 gauge, it will still get the job done in an up close and personal situation when it comes to taking down a mugger or someone who may be trying to hurt you or your family. But if you're still not a fan of the .410 you can always go with a plain old .45colt revolver or a .357 or .44 magnum, all of which are equally effective in taking down the bad guys. Ideally, we would all like to have as many firearms as possible in a situation where we have to fight to survive. But depending on the situation it may not be feasible to have 50+ firearms at your constant disposal. That's why it's important to analyze the potential uses for guns and come up with a good set of firearms that you would feel comfortable with and that you could have on or near you at most or all times.

Fabio's Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

Recipe by Fabio Viviani
Yield: 4 servings

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons minced-to-a-paste garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
1 pork tenderloin (2 to 4 pounds)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
10 to 12 slices thick-cut bacon
Olive oil, as needed

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place a sheet or two of plastic wrap on a work surface.
Stir together the vinegar and honey for the glaze; set aside.
Stir together the garlic, oregano, and thyme.
Rub the tenderloin with the garlic-herb mixture, and season it with salt and pepper.
Place the tenderloin at the end of the plastic wrap that is closest to you.
In front of the tenderloin on the plastic wrap, slightly overlap the bacon slices the length of the tenderloin.
Roll the tenderloin over the bacon, using the plastic wrap to help you roll evenly and smoothly. Trim the ends a bit, if necessary, to make a neat package. Discard the plastic wrap.
Heat a large sauté pan over high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil and heat until it starts to ripple.
Place the tenderloin, seam-side down, in the pan. Sear until the bacon is browned, about 2 minutes. Carefully turn the tenderloin and sear the remaining sides, about 2 minutes per side.
Transfer the tenderloin to a roasting pan or shallow-sided sheet pan, and coat it thoroughly with the glaze.
Roast the tenderloin until the internal temperature reaches 135°-145°F on an instant-read thermometer, 8 to 10 minutes. Let the tenderloin rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
Using a sharp slicing knife, cut the tenderloin into slices 1/2-inch to 1-inch thick. Serve immediately.

Black Liberals: Opposition to Obamacare Based on Racism, Ignorance

Published on Sep 23, 2013
Last week, MRCTV headed to the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference. The conference attracted some of President Obama's most loyal supporters who are determined to defend his agenda at all costs. However, Obamacare, the President's signature achievement remains highly unpopular with the American people.

Dan Joseph, interviewed some of the conference's attendees to find out why they thought Americans continue to reject the president's most significant legislative accomplishment.

“I came up with the idea at least 20 years ago that we needed more women in politics. It would take a different turn. And I suggested that men be barred from political office. They could do everything else, be president of universities, business leaders, but they just couldn’t serve in any elected position for 100 years. I think we’d have a lot more emphasis on education and healthcare and a lot less on Army and the Navy and the Marine Corps. It would be a very positive step, but it hasn’t happened yet.”

Foot cream kills HIV

Foot cream kills HIV by tricking cells to commit suicide

Though the research has yet to be performed on people, Ciclopirox completely eradicates HIV from cell cultures -- and the virus doesn't bounce back when the drug is stopped.
September 24, 2013 4:26 PM PDT

A common drug that dermatologists turn to treat nail fungus appears to come with a not-so-tiny side effect: eradicating HIV.
In a study performed at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, not only does the drug Ciclopirox completely eradicate infectious HIV from cell cultures, but unlike today's most cutting-edge antiviral treatments, the virus doesn't bounce back when the drug is withheld. This means it may not require a lifetime of use to keep HIV at bay.
The same group of researchers had previously shown that Ciclopirox -- approved by the FDA and Europe's EMA as safe for human use to treat foot fungus -- inhibits the expression of HIV genes in culture. Now they have found that it also blocks the essential function of the mitochondria, which results in the reactivation of the cell's suicide pathway, all while sparing the healthy cells.

Sex Jihad and Western Disbelief

September 25, 2013 By

The sex jihad is back in the news.  Last Thursday, during an address to the National Constituent Assembly, Tunisian Interior Minister Lotfi Bin Jeddo announced that Tunisian girls who had traveled to Syria to perform “sex jihad” had returned after being sexually “swapped between 20, 30, and 100 rebels and they come back bearing the fruit of sexual contacts [from pregnancies to diseases] in the name of sexual jihad and we are silent doing nothing and standing idle.”
Several video interviews with Tunisian females who went to the sex jihad further testify to the veracity of this phenomenon.  For example, 19-year-old Lamia, upon returning, confessed how she was made to have sex with countless men—including Pakistanis, Afghanis, Libyans, Tunisians, Iraqis, Saudis, Somalis, and a Yemeni, all in the context of the “sex jihad, and that she and many other women were abused, beaten, and forced to do things “that contradict all sense of human worth.” Now back in Tunisia, Lamia has been to a doctor finding that she is five months pregnant. Both she and her unborn are carrying the aids virus (read her whole story).

Other interviewed women have told of how they were “fooled,” or how their husbands (they being one of four wives) divorced and sent them to Syria for the sex jihad, with assurances that they would be guaranteed paradise in the afterlife.  One 16-year-old explained how her father ordered her to have sex with several jihadi “liberators.”
Due to the severity of this matter, since March, 6,000 Tunisians were banned from travelling to Syria; 86 individuals suspected of forming “cells” to send Tunisian youth to Syria have been arrested.
Back in April, Sheikh Othman Battikh, former Mufti of Tunisia, said before reporters that, “For Jihad in Syria, they are now pushing girls to go there. 13 young girls have been sent for sexual jihad. What is this? This is called prostitution. It is moral educational corruption.”
He was dismissed from his position as Mufti of Tunisia days later.
However, as I wrote back in June when reporting on the sex jihad phenomenon:
Muslim women prostituting themselves in this case is being considered a legitimate jihad because such women are making sacrifices—their chastity, their dignity—in order to help apparently sexually-frustrated jihadis better focus on the war to empower Islam in Syria.
And it is prostitution—for they are promised payment, albeit in the afterlife. The Koran declares that “Allah has purchased of the believers their persons [their bodies] and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain (Yusuf Ali trans. 9:111).
At any rate, while news that Muslim girls in hijabs are prostituting themselves in the name of Islam may be instinctively dismissed as a “hoax,” the fact is, Islamic clerics regularly issue fatwas permitting forbidden, if not bizarre, things.
