Rumours about Monty Python’s Flying Circus being as expired as that
stiff bird in the classic dead parrot sketch are apparently highly
exaggerated. But former member Terry Jones has spilled the beans about a
possible reunion.
"I'm quite excited about it,” said Jones to the BBC in a story that appeared online Tuesday. “I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!"
A media conference has been slated for Thursday about what Jones and
surviving members John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael
Palin plan to do, although scuttlebutt has it that the project will
consist of a live stage show.
