CHRISTIAN REFUGEES: Need Not Apply!
As democracies fought with courage and resiliency against the Nazi war machine…they did little to nothing to prevent the slaughter of Jews, and dithered around with the thought of taking in Jewish refugees, due to political fallout. The result was basically a “Jews need not apply” refugee policy for these victims of a Jewish Genocide.
Fast forward to today, and the Middle East. The perps are no longer Nazis, but those of the ideology most admired and utilized by Hitler in the “Final Solution”. Fans of Mein Kampf and anti-Semites: The followers of Islam. The victims this time…the most persecuted people on the Earth today: Christians.
As author and Islam Analyst Raymond Ibrahim, has stated: “As happens to this day under the new caliphate — the Islamic State — the Ottoman caliphate crucified, beheaded, tortured, mutilated, raped, enslaved, and otherwise massacred countless ‘infidel’ Christians.” The genocide of Christians under the Ottoman Empire 100 years ago, is being attempted, yet again.
And tragically, as occurred during the Holocaust of the Jewish people…democracies are co-opting a policy of “Christians need not apply”:
— While innocent Christians in Syria, Iraq, Libya and throughout the Middle East are being slaughtered like cattle, Western countries like Canada, Denmark and the like…are seeking perfect policy as Christians languish in fear for their lives.
— Sweden — Iraqi Christians are being systematically expelled back to Iraq (and certain death) by the Swedish government.
— The United States — Assyrian Christian refugees have been denied Visas by the US State Dept., while thousands of Muslims (non-refugees) are accepted. President Obama has shut the door to Christian refugees, under the edict of the United Nations (refused status under Statute 6B of the UNHCR).
The result of the West’s dithering: More and more innocent Christian men, women and children are dying…for simply being Christian. A crime against humanity…and we its willing accomplices.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer (a German Lutheran pastor, theologian, executed for his part in an assassination attempt on Hitler) once said:
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
